Elisa Ung

I’m an award-winning writer, ghostwriter, and editor eager to help you tell your story.

My services include ghostwriting, content writing, editing, book collaboration, recipe writing, and recipe testing. I also enjoy working with authors through Gotham Ghostwriters, Scribe Media, and Story Terrace.

I spent almost a decade as a food critic and columnist for Northjersey.com and The (Bergen) Record, and prior to that I was a news reporter for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

I’m the author of Coping With ADD/ADHD and ODD, a young-adult book from Rosen Publishing that explores attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and oppositional defiant disorder.

“I will look for more writing projects just so that I can work with Elisa again — the experience was that terrific.”

Allison Task, author of Personal (R)evolution: How to Be Happy, Change Your Life, and Do That Thing You’ve Always Wanted to Do

“She has the ability to make her subjects come to life on the page. She is able to succinctly, yet powerfully, let the reader know what they need to know. What always impressed me is her ability to listen and respond appropriately – whether it was a reader, a chef or an editor. She can turn casual conversations into story and column ideas that cut to what the reader needs and/or wants to know.”

Marc Schwarz, former features editor, Northjersey.com and The (Bergen) Record
